Vijay Uchil

A career which started in the Finance Department in Advertising agencies, after 35 years,is now one of the most prominent headhunters for the Ad industry. In 1985, cognizance of a gap between the talent and the industry, limited HR Departments & networking limitations inspired Vijay Uchil to establish The Job Shop, a placement agency specialised to advertising. Over three decades, business has grown with a vision to reach out to the best talents in the business and a satisfied clientele under Vijay’s leadership. Even today he enjoys calls from industry stalwarts reminding him of the times he got them placed for their first job or a career changing move.

Ishan Uchil

Entrepreneurship was never a first choice career. As a teenager, riddled often on advertising campaigns by his Father and Founder of The Job Shop, Vijay Uchil, intrigued his interests towards Advertising. With a well scripted careermap he experienced 4 years of the Mad Ad World and plunged straight into Recruitment.

In 2015, Ishan, the second generation joined to learn the tricks of trade embarking on a journey to step up to the legacy. First hand experience of the new age advertising and its intricate talent complications aids his vision to augment the business operations beyond traditional advertising.
